Note on Applications for assistance:

Ordinarily although applications are accepted throughout the year we do almost all of our projects during the summer. Applications received after the 1st of April 2012 may be considered for the year they are submitted or held unless the following seasons housing season coordinate. This allows us to coordinate the time and effortsof our volunteers. Propject are approved on a needs basis. Not all approved applications are ultimately completed however because we do nnot always have volunters with the necessary skills to complete the complicated projects.

What we do:

The Cluster 13 Ministries Housing Program helps people in our local community with housing repairs & renovations like ramps for the wheelchair bound. We do everything from plumbing, to electrical, to roofs, to general house repairs. We rely on volunteer groups of local and out of town mission groups and individuals & do the work.In these ways we help our neighbors with their basic needs when they can not manage on their own ie: food..... clothing.... shelter.... and other issues o handicap accessibility like bathrooms and kitchens. God blessed our community this year with the services of 4 out of state mission groups who visit us and 3 local groups who also took time out on projects.  Out of town & Out of state groups are provided with a place to sleep as well as shower & kitchen facilities. We are always looking for more groups to do more projects because of the never-ending need for this kind of work. Last summer we did several roofs as well as several projects that required minor repairs.We completed 21 projects last year. We are sure to have more this year.
