What we do:

The Cluster 13 Ministries Housing Program provides people in our local community with stuff like housing repairs & other things like ramps for the wheelchair bound. We do everything from plumbing, to electrical, to roofs, to general house repairs. We rely on volunteer groups of people to come & do the work. Out of town & Out of state groups are provided with a place to sleep as well as shower & kitchen facilities. We are always looking for more groups to do more projects because of the never-ending need for this kind of work. Last summer we did several roofs as well as several projects that required minor repairs.We completed 12 projects last year. We have more than that to do this year.

OPEN PROJECTS

(A) GENTLEMAN DISABLED BY AN ACCIDENT - Needs minor repairs 

This man has a 100% disability from the auto accident that killed his wife. He is still in his own home thanks to the exhaustive efforts of extended family and social service agencies. Money and expertise are needed to help him stay in his home space.

He needs soft spots in the floor repaired, Bathroom grab bars and a window replaced.

Space to work is limited to 2 or 3 people

(1) FAMILY OF 4 - Needs a Roof

This family of 4 is dealing with a cancer battle and lay-off. Hard Working young couple up  against a  hard stone for the time being. Community active, volunteer firefighter. Let’s help them through.            

They need a roof repaired/replaced

A team of 5 to 6 people who could get around on a gabled roof could do this job.

 (2) FAMILY OF 5 - Needs a Roof

This family of 5 is working hard but can’t keep up.

They made repairs that have subsequently caused the roof to leak They now need roof repairs.

 3 to 4 people are needed as the homeowner will help also.

(3)OLDER COUPLE - Needs Multiple repairs - Small Jobs

This is an older couple dealing with disability.

They need a double door removed and replaced with a single insulated door. A soft spot in the bathroom floor fixed and a window repaired.

Working space is limited, 2 or 3 people are needed for this project
